Education.

I am a queer, femme, WOC, self-relationship and body-connection educator. I am on this earth to challenge the ways in which we view our bodies through a toxic, systemically oppressive lens. I am dedicated to advocating for the liberation of all bodies through accessible education, conversation and community.

I often get asked how Vulva Witch began, it all started with an Instagram poll on my personal page where I happened to ask, “Do you have any insecurities about your vulva?” I was not expecting my inbox to flood with hundreds of messages, but it did. People were engaging, pouring their hearts out, sharing stories about their insecurities and shame. It was at that moment I felt a pull to continue fostering this conversation.

I realized while reading the stories just how little we are taught about our vulva and how that inherently leads to shame and misunderstanding. It led me to start asking myself, why aren’t we taught about the parts and functions of our vulva, or the power of our clitoris? Why aren't we aware of how diverse labia are and how there isn’t a “standard” look for a vulva. There is this incredible, powerful existence on our body that we know nothing about and more often than not, are not encouraged or empowered to explore.

As a queer femme I also am gravely aware of how exclusionary the conversation around vulvae are to humxns that are not cis born womxn. I want Vulva Witch to be a place for all humxns with vulvae, regardless of gender or your “born genitalia”. A story from a trans man, womxn or gender non conforming humxn is equally important at the table that is Vulva Witch.

Everything that I do with the art and photography is aimed to educate, empower and represent all humxns with vulvae. It is time we, with the vulvae, get to tell the stories about our bodies. It is time that all bodies are represented in this conversation regardless of age, ability, race, sexual orientation, gender, or body size.
